The Accounts Monitor is where you can view and access all of the accounts, credit cards, wallets & loans that you have added.

The balance of each account, along with any statement dates, selected actions and alerts are displayed here.

Transaction Register :

The Transaction Register is the primary place where your imported transactions are named and categorised.

Budgets Get Real learns which names and categories you associate with transactions. The more you enter the more it learns to do for you. This makes it quicker and easier to name + categorise your transactions in the future. ( Budgets Get Real automatically applied all of the names and categories in the example below.)

Categorised transactions are automatically available for Income & Expense Reports, even before having set a budget.

Income & Expense Reports :

In this report you can view your Income & Expenses, clearly broken down into categories.
View them over any period of time (for which you have transactions) and compare against other months, periods of time and against your budgets.

You can update and add budget items directly from within this report, and view greater details for each category, including 12 month comparison reports.

The CashCurve :

The CashCurve is a cash flow and liquidity report that allows you to use your budget to see how you are financially progressing - and to identify areas of possible cash flow crisis in the next 24 months.

Armed with this information you can modify your budget, re-schedule large periodic payments, and provide for all contingencies. The CashCurve will also tell you just how much free cash you have at any time to meet unforeseen expenses.

With the CashCurve you can instantly see just how much of an impact extra savings will have on your future financial position, and how much you need to put aside to avoid running into trouble.

The Budget Monitor :

The Budgets Monitor displays an overview of your budget progress for the past 4 weeks, or for previous months. From this window you can easily view budget details and graphs, as well as access your transactions and modify your wallet and credit card details.

Your budget progress is clearly displayed in the Budgets monitor using a series of simple graphs.

These graphs indicate how much of your budget you have spent. Where you have exceeded your budget you will be able to clearly see how far over you are. Your current budget and any excess is listed in the columns 'Budget' and 'Actual'. Learn more about the Budget Monitor here.

Cash Commitments :

The Cash Commitments module is designed to help you manage your budgeted incomes and expenses.

It does this by allowing you to see how your spending, income and electronic transfers will affect the balances of your linked bank and credit card accounts at different points in time.

You can use it to decide what you must pay, what you can defer, how best to pay off your credit card statements and how to transfer funds between accounts.

Properly used, it will ensure you always have efficient levels of funds in all accounts and minimise the risk of bank fees due to low or overdrawn funds.
